We have a great event that you won't want to miss! The big question always discussed when it comes to creating a state based Medicare for All system is how will it work. Kahn, MD, MPH for a statewide webinar on Wednesday, July 14 at 5:00pm to 6:00pm Pacific to discuss just what this path can look like, different financing options and the importance of continuing to push for a single payer solution at the HCAC.
Dr. James G. Kahn, MD, MPH is a renowned professor emeritus in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies at UCSF. Jim is a health economist who has been publishing studies that detail the cost savings of a single payer system. In January, 2020, he organized and led a day-long conference called "Medicare for All: How to Do It Right." The conference brought in many U.S. and international experts.
