Join us for a Zoom meeting at 5:30pm to prepare a Twitter storm, call-in and social media postings to Governor Newsom urging him to #LeadTheWave for single-payer guaranteed healthcare. We’ll be inspired by people’s stories of our broken and harmful private insurance-based healthcare system and by leading advocates demanding all residents of California be guaranteed the healthcare we need, not just what we can afford or what the insurance companies allow us to have. That’s the change we demand: let’s transform the current healthcare industry that profits off of human suffering and is fatal to many as it produces health inequities for Black and brown communities into a caregiving healthcare system that promotes public health, and culturally competent healthcare in every community.
